Michelin-Star Mince Pies: Place your bids now


The head chef of one of Jersey's Michelin star restaurants is taking part in this year's Mince Pie Project. Steve Smith from Bohemia will be one of 100 chefs creating mince pies for an auction in aid of FoodCycle and Kids Company.

Each chef will make two boxes of their signature mince pies; one for auction, the other for a raffle which takes place on 13th December. Last year’s event raised over £30,000, with the highest bid being raised by Dan Doherty with his £1,900 box of gingerbread flavour mince pies.

Chefs involved this Christmas include Michel Roux Jr, Lorraine Pascale, Tom Aitkens and Raymond Blanc. Tickets for the raffle are available with a donation of £2. For more information, please visit www.themincepieproject.com or follow @mincepieproject on Twitter.
