New Location for CocoRico

Just over a year after bringing French macarons to Jersey, CocoRico is expanding and moving to new premises in St Helier. The cafe and patisserie left its Hill Street site earlier this year and will be re-opening at 33 Broad Street the first week in June.

Run by Sébastien Perrais, CocoRico quickly developed a following for its brightly-coloured macarons, which use so many local ingredients they are accredited by Genuine Jersey.

Sébastien said: “We needed a bigger kitchen and more space for people to sit and enjoy the cakes. This new site is very central and will give us the opportunity to grow.”

Drawing on the cuisine of his native Brittany, Sébastien specialises in traditional dishes like crêpes and sour-dough bread, in addition to lunch time offerings such as soups and quiches.
